Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., established in 1913, has established itself as a prominent public service organization that fearlessly tackles the issues facing African Americans and the entire American community. Throughout the years, the organization has developed numerous programs that aim to address education, health, international development, and strengthening of the African American family. To achieve its mission, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. offers a broad range of public service initiatives through its Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:
